Q: How can I know when my test day records have been processed?
A: There are 3 options:
1. Call DHI-Provo at 1-800-453-9400 ext. 6704 or 6708
2. For DHI-Plus® users, transmit and if the new test day has been processed you will receive an “after test transmission” with updated data. If the test day has not been processed you will not receive anything back in the transmission.
3. Order eReports and you will receive an email with updated test day reports as soon as the new test day records have been processed at DHI-Provo.
Q: Does DHI-Provo have a program for putting herd records on a
Palm?
A: Yes, you can put DHI-Plus® data on a Palm with
PDA Plus II.
Q: The consultant I’m working with wants access to my herd records for evaluation. How can I make my
herd records available?
A: Sign a data release form and fax or send it to DHI-Provo. Once a data release form is on file a consultant can access your herd records in several ways:
1. Use Access-DHI™ (consultant’s version of DHI-Plus) to either:
 Download data directly from DHI-Provo
Use Express Service and have data emailed immediately upon processing at DHI-Provo. This is the quickest and most efficient way for a consultant to receive data for your herd.
Backup data from the producer’s PC and restore it to Access-DHI
2. Use the eReports service and order 3rd party reports such as the Herd Summary.
3. Have printed test day reports mailed via 3rd party.
Q: My consultant wants to see pregnancy rates for my
herd. Does DHI-Provo provide pregnancy rate data?
A: The Breeding Analysis is an excellent tool to evaluate reproductive data including pregnancy rates. To order the Breeding Analysis module for DHI-Plus or Access-DHI call 1-800-453-9400 ext. 6704.
Q: Does DHI-Provo have a feed software program for feed management?
A: Yes, the EZfeed™ program is an excellent tool to control feed rations, monitor feed delivery and track feed inventories. EZfeed utilizes a Pen-Tablet computer that is mounted in the feed truck or on the tractor to keep track of what is loaded and fed by pen.
Q: Does DHI-Provo offer training courses or on site training?
A: Yes, there are several training options available. There is an annual Workshop and Conference held every November.
